The Holy Scriptures
The Bible is the standard for everything because the Scriptures were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Unfortunately, the Bible has been and continues to be corrupted, but it is impossible to destroy the foundation of the biblical messages. The LORD preserves His written Word.
On the prophesied day when the last believers leave this world, it will no longer matter. Then there will be no one left for whom the Scriptures are important, and this will mark the final beginning of the end.
The Old and New Testaments cannot be separated in any way and can only be understood together.
The way
Unfortunately, what began with the Reformers was not consistently continued.
Our foundation should be all the solas:
- Sola Scriptura
By Scripture alone
- Sola Fide
By faith alone
- Sola Gratia
By grace alone
- Solus Christus
Christ alone
- Soli Deo Gloria
Glory to God alone
The LORD is the truth, the way and the life. So whoever seeks the truth will find the LORD. Whoever seeks life will find the LORD. Whoever seeks the way to a morally righteous life will find the LORD.
GOD and LORD
Jesus himself distinguishes between himself and the heavenly Father.
Thus, Jesus' words expose every doctrine of the Trinity as a lie.
At the time of the early Christians, there was a monolatrous way of thinking, and this has not changed throughout the Bible. If there is fundamentally only one true God, the first commandment makes no sense at all. One cannot forbid worshipping or venerating something that does not exist. If this were the case,
a loving God would become a selfish and egocentric God.
With such illogicality, the Holy Scriptures would rob themselves of their credibility.
Faith in daily life
Many people find me somewhat strange. My principle is simply:
Do not do to anyone what I would not want done to myself.
In our consumer-driven and capitalist society, this is a challenge.
However, respecting the golden rule is more important to me than the possible consequences. My experience is:Follow the LORD and you will always land on your feet, regardless of the adversities.
